Our story
We built RankInPublic so founders had a place to launch their startups and get seen. It grew to more than 8,500 users.
A launch platform lives or dies by being found, so we had to earn that visibility for our own site first. We grew RankInPublic to a Domain Rating of 55, one directory listing and one mention at a time.
Doing it ourselves showed us what actually moves the needle. Not tricks or volume, but being listed in the right places and being mentioned on the pages that search engines and AI assistants already trust.
Meanwhile, buyers started asking ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude what to use, and Google began answering with AI Overviews. Those answers lean on the same trusted pages. The brands mentioned there get recommended. Everyone else is left out.
